Other than that, forget about it. Good if you're a hardcore gamer or interested in game design. Good if you want to know what is coming out. Good if your the one that waits in line for Midnight Madness.
Did you know." :)My boys are happy with this subscription and looking forward to the next one. I am constantly hearing: "Mom, hear this. I bought a year subscription to this with the disc and my 12 year old reads it often. I asked him if the disc was any good and he said it had games he wouldn't have thought to look at which was fun for him to check out.
Occasionally (read:1 out of 30+ for me) a disk won't read correctly on the 360, just email the publisher and they'll give you some tips on how to get it running and if it still doesn't work they send you one. Ordered through Amazon, got the first issue within about 4 weeks, disks always have great demos and now include every review of some xbox/ all 360 games.
The $3 or less, that Amazon charges is about where it should be. I don't want to spend much time writing this review. It's about half-filled with advertising, and the other half is only about 30 pages of information that's already available on the web. But yeah, I can't really even say this magazine is worth $3 an issue. But anyways.OXM is a decent magazine, comparing Amazon's price to what you pay retail, is night and day. The magazine is "definitely" not worth $8-10 per issue.
but with mags on the decline, you should subscribe to get a piece of vg history before you have to pay mad money for back issues on ebay.just subscribe and be done with it. usually informative.
